About This Site

This site complies closely with the Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML) standards set forth by World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). When used in conjunction with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XHTML allows us to format our site for a variety of different media: computer screens, projectors, PDAs, mobile phones, and televisions. Additionally, XHTML grants the visually impaired better access to the Web, while ensuring that websites load faster, consume less bandwidth, and are consistently styled across platforms. Many highly trafficked sites such as Wired.com, the New York Times, and Yahoo News also use these standards.

If you are using a browser that does not support XHTML or CSS, we recommend that you upgrade your browser. Most browsers are available free of cost and take only a few minutes to install. Additionally, an up-to-date browser is usually more secure against viruses, trojans, and other security hazards.

CAA does not endorse any one browser. You can find a nearly complete list of browsers by clicking here. CAA staff cannot help you install any of these browsers.

If you cannot update your browser yourself, the information on our site is still accessible to you, but is not styled with the appropriate colors, fonts, and layout.
