It’s interesting to have CAA in LA on the heels of the Oscars. I have heard far more buzz about CAA than last week’s red carpet affair. Everyone is a twitter about all the friends and colleagues who are coming in to visit, and I know I’m looking forward to actually meeting many “friends” who I’ve only ever met on Facebook.
Innumerable galleries are puffing up their feathers (like this fellow) and getting ready for the arrival of the art and art history (g)literati. There are more opening events than my iCal can keep track of, and myriad concurrent exhibitions and happenings outside of CAA. (more…)
