CAA is currently accepting applications for the 98th Annual Conference, to be held in Chicago, IL, from Wednesday, February 10, to Saturday, February 13, 2010. Session proposals will be reviewed and selected by the Annual Conference Committee. The deadline is September 1, 2008 midnight ET.
The Annual Conference Committee invites session proposals that cover the breadth of current thought and research in art, art and architectural history, theory, criticism, museum and curatorial practice, pedagogy and educational issues, conservation, and developments in technology.
The Committee welcomes proposals that include the work of established artists and scholars, along with that of younger scholars, emerging and mid-career artists, and graduate students. Particularly welcome are collaborative and interdisciplinary sessions that bring together participants in a wide range of fields.
