Artists’ Portfolio Mentoring Sessions

Appointments will be scheduled in the following time slots: Thurs–Fri 8:00
am–noon; 1:00–5:00 pm
CAA artist members may present slides, VHS-format videos, or CD-ROMs of their work for review by professional curators and critics in individual, twenty-minute consultations. The goal of these sessions is for CAA members to discuss issues and present questions about portfolio formats, visual sequencing, and professional advancement through the artist portfolio with experts in the field.

here. Participants will be chosen by a lottery of applications received by the deadline; all applicants will be notified by mail or e-mail in January. While CAA will make every effort to accommodate all applicants, participation is limited. Please send the completed application to:

Artists, art historians, museum professionals, and art educators at all career stages are invited to apply for one-on-one consultations with professionals in their fields. The Career Development Sessions offer a unique opportunity to receive candid advice on how to conduct a thorough job search, present work, prepare for interviews, and discuss how to advance one’s career.
